virtuafan - First Steps

Alright, so you decided to take a closer look on Virtuadopt. To have all the fun other users have, do one thing first of all:

Register!

It won't take much time, it's totally free and I've never got any security problems with Virtuadopt. You can adopt eggs even before you become a user, but you can't save them, so its a waste of time (okay, there is a way to save them, but its to complicated, so forget it and register

).
Agree to the terms, think of a nice user name and password, and you will soon get your confirmation e-mail.

If everything is working you can now log in and discover the exciting world of this clicking site

Now you can see a big banner on the top of the page divided into four categories:

main: Here you can inform yourself about the latest news in the Virtuadopt world (but be careful, its not always up to date )
adopt: This page is very important for you, because here Prof. Birch is waiting for you to adopt your first eggs.
explore: There you can find the way to your personal Pokémon and other nice functions which will help to enjoy your time on Virtuadopt and get your Pokédex completed
forum: A good place to inform yourself about rumors going around, finding help, talk with other users and make new friends.

I'm sure you first want to get your own Pokémon. Therefor click on "adopt".

Here you see a frame with an egg. You can give a name to the egg or not, then press the "Adopt me"-Button and... you own now your first egg!
Go on with adopting until you have 12. This is the maximum amount of eggs you can have at one time (but you still can add the eggs from Daycare Center, so don't get confused if you see a user with more then 12 eggs).

Sometimes you will find here another typ of eggs, called "monthlies". They are only available for a limited time and you are able to adopt one every 3 hours up to 20 (or 30 if you have premium account

)each version (sometimes its more then one egg per month). You can guess what is inside, but you will never know what will hatch

But you can get some special Pokémon out of them like this version of Yveltal :

The next place to go is now the explore area, because here you can navigate to all important things for your visit on VA.
If you slide over the startpicture, the diffrent buildings will be explained. You can click them here or on the sidebar.
First, go to the starter corner in middle. There a starter from every region is waiting for you as a little starting present

Choose wise because you can only get the others by trade

After that you should have a look of all your new companions, so click on "Pokémon Center" → View/Edit Pokémon.
Now you can collect them all, order in boxes, look for details, change their names and so on...
